Safe Haven provides a confidential, non-judgmental, safe, and supportive environment for survivors to participate in discussions on relevant topics centered on domestic, safety, and the impact of witnessing domestic violence on children. March is Women’s History Month. Safe Haven is hosting a Zoom Move Night and brief discussion on March 8th (International Women's Day) @ 7pm. The film will be “The Empowerment Project”. The Empowerment Project is a story of the incredible journey of a crew of female filmmakers driving across America to encourage, empower, and inspire the next generation of strong women to go after their career ambitions. The film challenges the audience to ask themselves, "What would you do if you knew you would succeed?". During the workshop participants will be led through a guided exercise to envision a safe, healthy, and unified community. Participants will be given a window of time to express their vision for the future through art. No prior art experience needed. All are welcome-including children! The workshop will be presented virtually on Zoom and is offered three times: Thursday, March 25th @ Noon, Friday, March 26th @ 7:00 pm, and Saturday, March 27th @ 1:00 pm.

Join Safe Haven and the Ashland University Title IX Committee for a T-Shirt Making event for the Clothesline Project on March 31 from 2-4pm at Eagles Landing, 1st floor of the AU Student Center. The event is open to students as well as the public.
