Safe Haven's Emergency Shelter serves adult survivors and their children who are fleeing domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, stalking, and other forms of abuse. Services are available to any survivor, regardless of demographic.

Education & Outreach

Safe Haven is committed to educating our community so we can work together to stop violence before it happens and so survivors know where to find us if needed. We offer prevention, outreach, and educational presentations to a variety of groups.

Campus Advocacy

Our Campus Advocate has walk-in office hours at Ashland University on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:30pm - 4:30pm and on Thursdays from 4pm - 7pm, Room 17 Rinehart Center

Court Advocacy

Safe Haven's Court Advocate offers survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking with accompaniment, support, information on navigating the justice system and victim rights, and answer questions about the court process.

Hospital Advocacy

Safe Haven advocates are available survivors to the hospital immediately following a sexual assault or domestic violence assault 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Advocates provide survivors and co-survivors with crisis intervention before, after, and during

Coordinated Community Response

Safe Haven is the lead agency for the Ashland County Domestic Violence Taskforce & Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). Members of this Coordinated Community Response team are committed to providing leadership and direction to domestic and sexual violence
